Don’t forget to avoid public holidays like June 24 and July 1, when rates can be doubled. Keep in mind that the peak moving period is from May 15 to July 15. To ensure your availability, contact two or three movers as soon as possible.

If you decide to pack your belongings yourself, bear in mind that the mover will not be liable for any damage. For total peace of mind, entrust the packing to a professional moving company. They are trained to do this safely and efficiently. If you prefer to do the packing yourself, your mover can probably provide you with boxes and wrapping paper. However, for items of great sentimental or financial value such as jewelry, bank certificates, collections, or works of art, it’s best to move them yourself.

We are determined to meet our commitments for your move, whatever the weather conditions. However, unforeseen bad weather could delay the work. If your move takes place in bad weather, please take the necessary measures to protect the floors and ensure the safety of our team.

In general, we recommend that you book your moving date at least two weeks in advance to get the date that suits you best. However, we understand that sometimes moves have to be planned at the last minute, and we’re here to help you in those situations too.

If you can choose, we suggest you avoid the beginning and end of the summer and/or winter vacations. Of course, we understand that you need to move when it’s most convenient for you. Factors that may be involved in your decision making are :

• A move that had to be made immediately.
• Moving with children during the school year.

If the move can be scheduled at a time when trucks and qualified personnel are most readily available, we’ll be better equipped to meet your desired delivery times.
